We adhere to the Manifesto #AquíEstánEllas promoted by Eje & Con the Spanish Association of Executive Women, as a response to support the initiative #DóndeEstánEllas, launched by the Office of the European Parliament in Spain.
In olivoENERGY we share and support the main objective of this initiative that aims to promote a system of collaboration between associations with women experts and media and conference organizers to work towards the goal that in the short term there is not an expert panel in which there is no female representation and, in the medium term, we can achieve equal participation.
Therefore, we commit ourselves:
- To promote parity whenever possible in the composition of the panels of experts in the events we organize.
- To deploy all our resources to identify the most appropriate female experts for each relevant visibility opportunity that comes our way.
In addition, our CEO Alicia Carrasco, as a regular speaker and Coleader of the Energy and Commodities Forum, commits by signing this manifesto to encourage the equal participation of women experts, and to actively point out this need when invited to participate in panels that are exclusively or almost exclusively composed of men, and to direct them to Eje&Con for the identification of women experts.
One more step to boost the visibility of women experts and achieve real equality!
